FPT Successfully Secures Three Major Projects in Energy, Microsoft Business, and System Modernization

With these milestones, FPT Japan continues to demonstrate its ability to secure large-scale projects in Japan while advancing the Corporation's AI-First strategy in key areas such as energy, Microsoft business, and system modernization.

FPT Japan is further strengthening its position in the Japanese market through three major projects spanning system modernization, Microsoft business, AI agents, and mainframe modernization. All three are major new projects launched in early 2026. The SAP, C, and R projects not only create long-term growth opportunities, but also clearly demonstrate how FPT is translating the Corporation's AI-First direction into complex digital transformation initiatives.

In the SAP project, FPT is participating in the modernization of systems for a major Japanese customer over a three-year period from May 2026 to March 2028. The project aims to optimize operating costs, strengthen global governance capabilities, and unify system platforms across international branches. Through the new system, the customer will be able to centralize data management, improve operational transparency, and increase the efficiency of system administration.

Notably, FPT distinguished itself with a highly competitive implementation proposal combining technological capability, delivery experience, and solution consulting expertise. The AI-First approach is reflected in FPT's proposal to apply AI to optimize costs, improve implementation efficiency, and create additional practical value for the customer.

With Project C, FPT achieved an important milestone in Microsoft business through a large-scale, three-year contract with a customer in Japan's energy sector, running from 2026 to 2029. The project is expected to expand business opportunities across the customer's ecosystem while promoting orders related to Microsoft licenses, Copilot, and AI agent development.

The project is also an important case study for expanding FPT's Microsoft business in Japan. By combining consulting capabilities, license implementation, and the development of applied AI solutions for enterprise operations, FPT continues to strengthen its role as a technology partner accompanying customers throughout digital transformation.

Meanwhile, Project R marks a major advance for FPT in mainframe modernization. It is one of the large-scale mainframe modernization projects using an FPT-developed solution to support the customer in transforming legacy systems from 2026 to 2035.

The project's success demonstrates the growing recognition of FPT's proprietary technology in the Japanese market. With FleziNEXT, a platform developed by the Corporation, FPT provides not only implementation resources but also a comprehensive solution that helps customers modernize their systems step by step, improve operational efficiency, and prepare for subsequent transformation phases.

The SAP, C, and R projects show that FPT Japan is gradually evolving from a technology service provider into a strategic partner capable of consulting, designing solutions, and accompanying customers through long-term digital transformation programs.

From SAP modernization, Microsoft licensing, Copilot, and AI agents to mainframe modernization, FPT is putting the AI-First approach into practice by optimizing resources, improving operational efficiency, and creating new growth models.

These three projects are not only significant business milestones. They also demonstrate how FPT Japan is turning AI-First from a strategic direction into concrete value for Japanese customers.

AI-First is a core strategy of FPT Corporation that places artificial intelligence at the center of every operational process, product, service, and way of thinking.
